Why we started Goodbye Fairbanks
We were the kids who grew up at Creamer's Field, skated at the Big Dipper, and graduated from West Valley and Lathrop. When our own families made the drive south — twice, between us — we learned that no one outside interior Alaska really understood what was involved. So in 2017, Erica and I opened a small office on Cushman Street and started guiding other Fairbanksans through the same move. We've now done it 1,840 times, and we're still on the same block.
